New Top 10
1. New York Yankees
The Yankees have been the hottest team in baseball and continue to find a way to win. Their starting pitching has been great, bullpen is coming around to what we thought it would be, their line-up is stellar... They have a big series coming up against a hot Nationals team that'll wrap up one of the toughest stretches of their season. If they can win the series with the Nats, this team is set up very nicely.

2. Boston Red Sox
They started as the hottest team in baseball. And now, they find themselves keeping pace with the hottest team in baseball - The New York Yankees. This AL East race has already been one for the ages, and the way these two teams line up I don't plan on it getting any less entertaining.

3. Houston Astros
They haven't been setting the world on fire, but their starting pitching has been so good that it's keeping the ship afloat. The talent is there, patience will be the key for Astros fans. They might get nervous with the Angels being right on the 'stros tail, but remember how good this starting pitching is and how far that can carry you in the postseason.
4. Los Angeles Angels
They're playing good baseball which is keeping them in the AL West race. I think their starting pitching right now is no where near as good as the Astros, but they have best player in baseball with Mike Trout and so far his supporting cast is contributing... They've surprised me with how competitive they've been and so I'll honor that success by keeping them towards the top.
5. Arizona Diamondbacks
Rough week. Their starting pitching is absolutely thrashed and Goldschmidt isn't hitting like an MVP. But 6 losses in a row isn't Goldschmidt's fault, that's what happens when you can't find that "automatic win" pitcher to end the losing streak like a Chris Sale, Kluber, or Scherzer. I'm hoping they turn it around this week hitting-wise and grind on the mound until Ray and the rest of the DL gets back.

6. Atlanta Braves
Bautista hits a clutch home run. What can't this team do right? The problem for this team is the Nationals are finally starting to roll. In this three horse NL East race (you know it's true Mets fans), the Braves are starting to prove more and more to me that they are a playoff team that can do damage right now.

7. Chicago Cubs
Another boring week for the Cubs. Through all their struggles, they're still only 2 games back of the NL Central lead. It's only a matter of time until they figure it out... But this is their last mulligan week until I start sliding them down.

8. Philadelphia Phillies
They're pretty good. But they share a similar problem with the Braves in that the Nationals are on the attack. They're developing into a really good team and are seeing early successes of that. We'll see if they can hang in the NL East race.

9. Washington Nationals
Welcome back to the Top 10... It was only a matter of time that a team built like this starts to come around. A team built to win this year is supposed to... well... win this year which hadn't really happened at first. This team is starting to roll and is always a threat to get on a long winning streak.

Slipping... Sliding... I'm honestly disappointed in this team so far. They have done literally the worst they possibly could to stay in first without walking away with the worst division in baseball. So I guess the good news is that they are still in 1st?.. Them and the Cubs have one more week until I'm replacing them with the high power offense Rockies and the Brewers who may have just found their ace on the mound in Freddy Peralta.
